LOL I just finished this book and thought there was something wrong with me for not falling over myself in love with it, but after reading your review, it seems that we both had the exact same take on the book. (Except the good characters part...I still didn't care for the characters, they seemed underdeveloped or overdone to me.) In any event, thanks for the great review. Wish I had come across it much sooner. Out of curiosity, have you read her other book called Revealers? Although I didn't care for this title, I'm tempted to pick up the new one and give it a try.
